Hours Per Week: 40 Hours per Week

Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

This position is eligible for a $7,000 (minus tax) sign on bonus with work commitment for less than 2 years' experience or $10,000 with more than 2 years' experience.

*Current employees of any Northern Light Health organizations or those with service breaks less than one year are not eligible to receive the sign-on bonus

Summary:Assists in operations, under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel.

Responsibilities:

Maintains sterile operative fields.
Maintains inventory of medical supplies or equipment.
Assists healthcare practitioners during surgery.
Positions patients for treatment or examination.
Protect patients or staff members using safety equipment.
Maintains a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures; reports and directly addresses environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed.
May perform other duties upon request.

Other Information:
Surgical Technician Certification preferred. BLS Required.
