40 hours per week

Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM - BONUS ELIGIBLE

Sign on bonus:
$7,000 sign on bonus for Certified Surgical Techs with less than 2 years of experience & a $10,000 sign on bonus for Certified Surgical Techs with 2+ years of experience.

Current employees of any Northern Light Member Organizations or those with a service break less than one year are not eligible for bonusSummary: Assists in operations, under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel.

Responsibilities:

Maintains sterile operative fields.
Maintains inventory of medical supplies or equipment.
Assists healthcare practitioners during surgery.
Positions patients for treatment or examination.
Protect patients or staff members using safety equipment.
Maintains a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures; reports and directly addresses environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed.
May perform other duties upon request.

Other Information:
Surgical Technician Certification preferred. BLS Required.

Required High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED)

Working Conditions

Lifting, moving and loading 30 to 50 pounds.
Alternate shift schedules (day, evening, nights, weekends).
