    Position Title: Senior Automation Programmer

    Location: Bronx, New York

    Position Status: 12+ month Contract

    Position Description:

    Our client is looking for Senior Automation Programmer candidates for a position located in the Bronx, New York. The Senior Automation Programmer will be responsible for:

    • The design and programming of the new automation systems as well as the maintenance of existing systems utilizing the latest technologies and trends in PLC and SCADA systems.
    • Providing technical guidance on SCADA system best practices, for the operation of the current AVEVA OASyS DNA system.
    • The implementation and migration of resources from that system to AVEVA Enterprise SCADA.
    • The development and maintenance of HMI graphical control systems AVEVA OASyS DNA.
    • Planning, development and implementation of new and existing graphic screens.
    • Performing the required programming to ensure an accurate and effective interface between graphics and control systems using AVEVA OASyS DNA application.

    This role will be 5 days/week onsite.

    Required Skills:

    • Proven background with SCADA and controlled environments.
    • Experience in PLC and HMI programming, testing and field start up experience
    • PLCs (Emerson Control Wave Micro, FloBoss and Allen Bradley)
    • HMI Panels & Panel PCs (Allen Bradley, Schneider)
    • Cell Modems (Digi and Sierra Wireless)
    • Communication Protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP and OPC)
    • HMI Programming (Using Software Package)

    Desired Skills:

    • AVEVA OaSYS
    • RTU Management
    • SCADA Engineering
