    Senior Solution Engineer at Contentful

As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will play a vital role in helping customers and potential clients grasp the importance of content in today's modern digital landscape.

    Our team of Senior Solution Engineers comes from various backgrounds, including marketing professionals, solution engineers with experience selling to marketing audiences, and individuals with agency and professional services backgrounds.     Imagine yourself as a co-pilot on sales opportunities. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives throughout key phases of the sales cycle, engaging in technical discovery, product presentations, solution design sessions, interactive trials, proofs of concept, and more. Building relationships with customer stakeholders to understand their needs and serving as a trusted advisor to assist them in navigating the ever-evolving landscape of digital marketing technology and trends.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Engage in an immersive onboarding experience to understand Contentful's value propositions, personas, products, MACH and composable solutions, partner ecosystem, and more.
    • Master the Contentful Demo presentation framework.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the Content Management competitive landscape and complementary stack solutions.
    • Build strong relationships across various departments including sales, marketing, product, partnerships, and others.
    • Collaborate on sales opportunities to drive revenue alongside Account Executives.
    • Understand customers' digital objectives and demonstrate how Contentful can support their vision through tailored product demonstrations and proofs of concept.
    • Assist with RFIs, RFPs, Security questionnaires, and provide feedback to internal teams.
    • Act as a thought leader in Solution Engineering and mentor junior team members.
    • Travel to customer sites when necessary.
    • Contribute to internal projects that enhance the effectiveness of the Solution Engineering team.
    • Encouraging leadership and a supportive environment for personal and professional growth.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Understanding of Digital Marketing and how content drives marketing strategies.
    • 3-5 years of sales engineering experience in cloud solutions OR performing Digital Marketing functions.
    • Excellent presentation skills to convey business and technical knowledge effectively.
    • High emotional intelligence for engaging with diverse customer stakeholders.
    • Curious about technology's impact on business value.

    Additional Desired Skills:

    • Prior experience with Content Management Platforms or similar (MarTech).
    • Knowledge of solution selling methodologies and value-based selling techniques.
    • Understanding of MACH products and Composable architectures.
