    Description

    Position: Senior Systems Administrator at a Leading Technology Company

    • Works closely with Systems Team to strategize and carry out migration of enterprise legacy systems infrastructure.
    • Plays a key role in planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining a large, complex, distributed server environment.
    • Develops and enforces operational management processes and procedures.
    • Offers comprehensive support for Unix and Linux servers, from installation to capacity planning.
    • Collaborates with various teams to drive project outcomes and manage vendor relationships.
    • Analyzes and resolves intricate hardware and software issues.
    • Installs and updates operating systems and related software.
    • Utilizes monitoring tools to identify and address anomalies.
    • Implements security measures and handles data backups and restores.
    • Generates system status reports and maintains detailed documentation.
    • Provides training and support to users and administrators.
    • Exhibits leadership qualities in line with enterprise standards.

    Location: Greater Seattle, WA area (On-site)

    • Downtown Seattle
    • Federal Way
    • Lynnwood
    • Bellevue (Factoria)

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Minimum 6 years of RedHat/Solaris systems administration experience.
    • Proficiency in programming languages like Perl, Shell, and Python.
    • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, with a preference for Ansible.

      • Desired Qualifications

    • Skilled in developing and managing CI/CD processes using tools such as SVN, Jenkins, Maven.
    • Expertise in database administration and performance tuning.
    • Familiarity with cluster management software (VCS).
    • Experience in business continuity/disaster recovery planning and high availability solutions.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Solutions.
