- Review and approve returns prepared by team members
- Document filing/reporting errors and communicate inconsistencies with Analyst and Supervisor/Manager
- Review and approve exception reports submitted weekly by Analysts and ensure PTCA is updated accordingly
- Review and approve funding's prepared by Analysts prior to submitting to client
- Review and approve Tax Bills/Check Requests in PTMS, OneSource & PowerPlan
- Create AP exports out of PTMS, OneSource & PowerPlan for PTCA and Solomon
- Release Check Batches and Request for Checks to be printed through Solomon
- Review and approve client billings and return mailer packets
- Review tax payments exceeding $10,000 prior to mailing
- Monitor PTCA database for both internal and jurisdictional deadlines ensuring department is meeting tasks timely and monitor internal controls
- Present completed returns to management for review by assigned due date
- Prepare tax payments on behalf of clients for jurisdictional liabilities
- Monitor and review all jurisdictional tax notices for assigned clients by assigned due date
- Monitor and review the analyst's scan's folders to ensure items are being broken out in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years' experience with DMA or in a similar position in the tax/accounting/auditing industry
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be assertive with other employees to ensure deadlines are met
- Organization and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- PTMS (Property Tax Management System) experience and technical tax background preferred
