We have an exciting opportunity for a new graduate to join our team as a Construction Project Engineer. The Project Engineer will support project management responsibilities by utilizing construction fundamentals and Elmingon Construction's resources, standards, and processes.All activities will be performed in support of the values of Elmington Construction.

SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
Upcoming or recent graduate of a university pursuing a degree in construction, engineering or related field
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Learns & understands Elmington's safety standards
Learns project startup requirements and assists as needed
Assists in updating of project schedule
Assists in managing submittal process and material procurement
Assists in managing RFI process and tracking log
Assists in creating and managing other tracking logs such as concrete, stone, lumber, etc
Assists in prioritizing and expediting material deliveries according to project schedule requirements
Assists with financials of project including subcontractor PCOs, job cost reports, and vendor invoices
Assists with job closeout tracking/documentation process
Assists in taking meeting minutes for subcontractor and OAC meetings. Assists with the preparation and distribution of all meeting materials including the agenda, minutes, action items, etc
Assists in project coordination meetings
Learns EC policy and processes and demonstrates adherence to those processes
