Vanderbilt is currently seeking a Project Engineer Automation (m/f/d) for ELA Container Offshore GmbH.

We specialize in mobile space solutions using container construction.

As a Project Engineer Automation, you will be responsible for coordinating the development, installation, and commissioning of automation and telecommunications systems as a sub-project manager.

This includes ensuring the contractual implementation of the defined scope of services, as well as managing and coordinating all technical issues.

You will also be responsible for document reviews for relevant systems and act as the main point of contact for any questions regarding these systems, such as climate control, fire detection and extinguishing systems, and coordination with other trades.

Additionally, you will participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), as well as offshore commissioning, including pre- and post-preparation.


To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Marine Engineering, Technical Building Services (TGA), Supply Engineering, or a similar qualification.

You should also have extensive experience in designing, installing, testing, and commissioning process systems, preferably in an offshore environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and assertively
