    Job Summary
    Responsible for internal and external communications for the Monte Ahuja College of Business (COB). Participates in development of public relations, marketing, and communication strategy and tactics. Responsible for the creation, quality, and production of communications and publications. Evaluates the timely adjustment of marketing and communication strategies and plans. Manages the operating budget for marketing and communications activities. Works with University Marketing to ensure brand consistency and on promotion and measurement activities. Supervises assigned staff. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
    • Four (4) years of experience in communications or marketing.
    • Supervisory or leadership experience.
    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
    • Experience in higher education marketing and communications.
    • Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Knowledge of HyperText Markup Language (HTML).
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    • Skilled in project management, problem-solving, analysis, follow-through, influence, and persuasion. The ability to function as systems thinker and be solution minded with a global perspective.
    • Knowledge and understanding of communication and marketing issues/trends in higher education.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofreading skills.
    • Proficient in desktop publishing, graphic design/image editing, and web site development software.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to work effectively across organizational levels and diverse populations.
    • Experience with marking analytics platforms, i.e., Google Analytics, tag management system, Google Tag Manager, open-source platform, and Drupal.
    • Knowledge on the factors that drive search engine optimization.
    • Skilled in digital media.
    • Ability to understand website architecture and constructs, including basic knowledge of tracking pixels.
    • Knowledge of graphic design and constructs.
    • Excellent communicator with ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats to a variety of audiences.
    • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships and work as an individual contributor and an effective team player, in addition to being highly organized, self-directed, and forward-thinking.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
