- Leads the Clinical Laboratory Operations' group by developing, communicating,
- Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
- Develops clinical laboratory operations goals and objectives including identifying
- Reports on operational performance, justification and/or corrective action.
- Implements policies, standards and procedures that support and facilitate clinical
- Develops strategies for clinical laboratory operations programs adaptation to
- Selects, develops, manages, and evaluates direct reports; oversees the selection,
- Reviews comprehensiveness of programs on an ongoing basis and develops
- Identifies and implements technology to improve operations.
- Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Current License to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in New York
- 4 years of technical experience, required and 0-2 years of leadership /
- Or
- Master's Degree with 2 years of technical
- 6 plus years of technical experience preferred.
- 4 plus years of leadership in clinical laboratory leadership experience preferred.
