Job Description

This position will work closely with developers and operations teams within the Transfer Agent (TA) to form business insights and facilitate initiatives on automation and process enhancements. This includes meeting with internal operations teams to understand business requirements and working with developers to create technical specifications. This position is also responsible for understanding complex business processes in order to document workflow, identify areas of risk, and deliver optimal solutions.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies, i.e., RPA
Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
Serving as a liaison between business units and developers
Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects

Job Qualifications (The ideal candidate should have the following):

Qualifications, Experience, Education:

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, or another relevant discipline that provides an understanding of the financial markets
2-3 years' experience in Operations with emphasis on data analysis or data management

Skills:

Strong understanding of business processes and functions, with the ability to analyze and document complex workflows.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner between developers and Operations teams
Ability to work closely with developers and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Strong problem solving and analytical skills - exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks quickly and effectively
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and changing environment with daily collaborations on initiatives with various technical and operations teams
Organized and thorough - Establishes priorities and follows through on tasks to completion.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.

Special Knowledge:

Knowledge of various automation technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and SQL a plus
