We are a global company, operating facilities in Torrington, CT, Irving, Texas, Mexico, and United Kingdom, and Poland.
Position: Customer Service Account Manager
As Customer Service Account Manager, you will have overall responsibility and authority for managing all aspects of customer relationships. You will liaison between customers, engineering, and production personnel on new program/product launches while improving the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities may include:
Develop relationships with customers; liaison between customer and company personnel
Confer with customers and engineers to assess needs and determine requirements
Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements to promote the sale of company products and to provide general sales support
Manage the day-to-day order activities, production schedules, expedites, ensuring on-time delivery
Manage customers Open Order Books; escalate orders that may be in jeopardy of missing on dock dates
Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing to ensure orders are scheduled and on-time ensuring on time delivery to customer expectations
Provide product and service information by answering questions and requests
Investigate and resolve customer concerns; identify trends and implement resolutions
Provide program management on new product introductions
Forecast future requirements based on customer input
Reconcile customers Open Order Books
Coordinate contract reviews
Visit customer sites as needed to support customer needs
Mentor/Train/Coach Customer Service Associates; identify process improvements, make recommendations
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within department.
Recognize your role as part of the Companys Quality Objective; follow established policies and procedures in support of the Companys Quality and AS9100 standards and initiatives
Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner
Perform other job related duties as assigned
Skills:
Excellent analytical, organizational, and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
Proficient in ERP and accounting computer application systems
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Ability to work under extreme pressure with strict deadlines
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
Experience/Education:
Bachelors degree in Business, Materials and Logistics Management
3-5 years related work experience
MS Office applications/Excel knowledge
