For an innovative laboratory, we are looking for a IT specialist (m/f/d) for network security at our location in Hamburg.

These are your tasks as an IT specialist (m/f/d):

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT systems and networks
  • Ensuring data security and integrity
  • Monitoring for potential external attacks and implementing countermeasures
  • Analyzing errors and resolving IT-related issues
  • Assisting with planning and implementing IT projects
  • Serving as a technical point of contact for internal users

These are your qualifications as an IT specialist (m/f/d):

  • Completed training or degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of LAN, WLAN, ideally HPE Aruba
  • Experience with network security and network security components (firewalls, proxies, DNS), ideally Fortinet
  • Good German and English skills
  • Teamwork, communication skills, and independent work ethic
