- 3-5 years of experience in a material planning, inventory management, or related position
- Experience working with international suppliers/customers
- Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry required
- Proficiency in SAP required
- Experience utilizing Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc. in MS Excel
- Determining the required materials and orders by Providing scheduling releases
- Set and maintain master data for components
- Optimize MRP parameters
- Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production
- Ensure on time deliveries and quantity with suppliers
- Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
- Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
- Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
- Preparing cost estimates and performance reports.
- Steer change management of components (ramp up and phase out)
- Check backlogs regularly and escalating it with supplier or purchasing
- Work with transport carriers (ocean FCL/LCL, air, trucking)
