    Description

    Exciting Opportunity: Program Manager Position at Innovative Company



    Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with project sponsor and Project Portfolio Managers (PPMs) to identify and prioritize initiatives at a division level
    • Develop and manage divisional roadmaps in collaboration with Project Portfolio Management and other staff
    • Create Business Case and Cost Benefit analysis for prioritized initiatives
    • Obtain necessary approvals for initiating projects
    • Assist in constructing Statements of Work for projects
    • Manage Vendor onboarding
    • Establish governance model for the program
    • Identify key requirements from cross-functional teams and Vendors
    • Manage risks and opportunities across multiple projects
    • Oversee budget and funding channels
    • Present program details to management
    • Maintain transparent communications within the program
    • Manage resource allocations and expectations
    • Ensure program compliance with IT roadmap and security requirements
    • Present program status to committee and executive meetings

    Skills:
    • Results-oriented individual with strong work ethic
    • Experience in managing a portfolio of multiple projects
    • Effective communication tailored to audience needs
    • Excellent written and presentation skills
    • Work effectively with all levels of staff and clients
    • Acquiring necessary resources and skills within parameters for a program
    • Proposing and leading strategic initiatives
    • Identifying and planning corrective actions
    • Providing advice and leadership in improving IT projects
    • Building, influencing, leading effective teams

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • PMP/PgMP Certification
    • Agile (PMI-ACP) Certification
    • Experience with legacy system replacement projects
    • Collaboration with State and Local Government
    • Experience in cross-functional team environments

    Mandatory Skills:
    • Program Management experience with large complex projects
    • Creating roadmaps for the portfolio
    • Developing business case, Cost Benefit and analysis
    • Delivering IT projects within budget, scope, and schedule
    • Decision-making based on strategic objectives
    • Managing project risk, cost, schedule, and quality
    • Supervision, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
    • Presentation, training, oral, and written communication skills
    • Work experience with project management tools

    Desired Qualifications:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
    • State Government experience
    • Implementation of a statewide IT project
    • Collaboration with State and Local Government
