- Coordinate with customers to develop project plan including project scope, release schedule, milestones, deliverables etc.
- Manage effective project implementation and delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage project activities to meet business goals.
- Track and monitor customer project execution to make sure that the customer requirements are met.
- Work with Engineering and Service Managers to identify and manage resource requirements, required skill sets, training plans, quality reviews, documentations and weekly meetings required for project execution.
- Develop process improvements to meet customer needs.
- Improve customer relationship by providing timely and accurate responses to their inquiries.
- Validate project plan and schedule to incorporate any changes requested by customers.
- Coordinate calls, meetings and communications between customers and project team throughout the project implementation phase.
- Inform project status, schedule and key issues to customers and management on regular basis.
- Perform negotiations on project activities with customer when required.
- Maintain and update a database of project related documents.
- Inform management on customer needs and business opportunities.
- Help identify new service needs and drive those ideas back to our Service, Engineering and Product Management team. Help create service tools roadmap and track progress.
- Partner with Service, Engineering and Product Management
- Schedule, participate and attend key customer visits and meetings.
- Create a culture to work and manage cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Service and Operations to meet customer commitments.
- Oversee and drive the process of writing technical bulletins and approving I/O guides including distribution to field partners.
- Ensure all company and departmental policies and safety processes are enforced.
- Create and monitor project performance metrics.
- Review Technical Specifications and provide comments to areas of concern related to SureScan product offering.
- Review Customer Purchase Orders (pre signing) to ensure PO accurately reflects SureScan Proposal/Sales Agreement and customer Technical Specification.
- BSET, BSME or BSCS
- 5+ years' experience in roles of business leadership & management, customer service management or project management.
- Knowledge and experience in project planning methods and tools (e.g. Microsoft Project).
- Proficiency at conveying technical information with an engaging presentation style to a diverse group of people.
- Sense of urgency and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- The ability to visualize problems and articulate solutions while in front of an audience
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Possess a strong and positive attitude.
- Travel (National and International) may be required up to 1-3 weeks per month.
- Proficient computer skills required in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

SureScan Corporation in Binghamton, NY, is seeking a Customer Project Manager. The responsibility of the Customer Project Manager is to assure customer satisfaction in the delivery of tailored, specialized, highly technical capital equipment. The Customer Project Manager will contribute in the following two key areas: 1) timely and accurate delivery of customer commitments and; 2) manage service tool development to provide superior machine uptime. This role will partner with Senior Management, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Service and the Customer.
