- Assists program managers in determining information and data requirements and communicates those needs to information systems staff.
- Facilitates problem resolution between programmatic staff and information systems staff. Analyzes alternatives for collection, manipulation, storage, retrieval and dissemination of information, and develops recommendations accordingly.
- Works closely with agency records officer to ensure that information systems are managed in accordance with public records laws.
- Assists with development of the agency information resources plan. Serves as a resource to agency management during evaluation and monitoring of information technology projects.
- Assists with procurement review.
- Assists with preparation of information for presentation to agency executives. Reviews proposed legislation for impact on agency information systems and promotes use of statewide information resource management guidelines and technology standards.

Description
*Resource Management Analyst IOur client in the public sector is looking for a Resource Management Analyst I to join their team.
This role will assist in different areas, but under the general supervision of their supervisor assesses information, technology, training and communications needs of the agency.
Familiarizes self with and monitors developments in agency's mission, goals and objectives, and is knowledgeable concerning the agency inventory. Assists in planning, organizing, and managing information resources in support of the agency's mission.Acts as liaison between the business/programmatic functions of the agency and the information systems function; and performs other duties as required.
Responsibilities:
Task #1:
Coordinates and prepares the fiscal year inventory closing reports relative to CHFS Agencies & CHFS Distribution Center.
Performs duties as Asset Coordinator and works closely with other Asset Coordinators & Agency Property Officers to ensure the Procurement, Payables and Asset Management System (PPATS) is managed and functioning in accordance with approved asset management procedures.
Task #2:
Monitors expenditures of items purchased greater than $500. Ensures all fixed assets are tracked appropriately. Works with agency budget personnel to ensure accurate funding codes for purchased, leased, or acquired equipment/property.
Monitors revenues and provides accurate funding codes to Finance Administration Cabinet Division of Surplus for assets sold by CHFS through auction, spot-bid, etc.
Task #3:
Coordinates and oversees the work of personnel engaged in the evaluation of CHFS Asset Management Policies & Procedures. Interprets laws and regulations to create and/or prepare procedure documentation to ensure compliance with Federal and State standard. Provides suggestions and notifications for policy and procedure changes to management/staff. Reports non-compliance as required.
Task #4:
Works with various department heads, management officials within various CHFS statewide to provide data on program policies as it relates to the asset management program.
Task #5:
Coordinates and prepares the fiscal year closing reports to CHFS assets. Research and prepares reports on budget issues relative to Cabinet assets. Coordinates and prepares the comprehensive annual financial report for the Cabinet.

*Minimum Requirements:
Experience, Training, or Skills:
One year of systems analysis, business administration, or public administration experience.
Substitute education for experience:
Related technical or vocational training will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year for year basis. A master's degree in computer science, business or public administration will substitute for the experience requirement.
Substitute experience for education:
Experience in computer programming, systems analysis, information services, research and statistics, business administration, or public administration will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
