    Description

    Position Overview:

    The Field Diagnostics Tools & Systems Engineering team is looking for individuals with strong Software Quality Assurance expertise to support the validation of diagnostic tools for Mac and iOS used in field service channels to enhance customer experience and drive performance indicators.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases in collaboration with developers based on functional specification documents.
    • Utilize bug-tracking tools to report and prioritize issues; collaborate with developers and team leaders to address and resolve issues effectively.
    • Offer timely and precise QA status updates to project managers and team leaders throughout different project stages.
    • Engage with developers, product readiness, localization, and other teams to provide assistance and ensure seamless collaboration.
    • Participate in efforts to enhance the overall QA process, including identifying and closing testing gaps and improving workflows.

    Key Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of QA experience in software or a related field.
    • Proficiency in UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for log analysis
    • Demonstrated expertise in core QA methodologies, such as creating test plans, authoring documentation, problem isolation, regression testing, ad hoc testing, and systems integration testing.
    • Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting hardware and software (iOS, macOS, and related hardware).
    • Ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and independent.
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
    • Accurate data collection and tracking capabilities, and the capacity to assist developers and project leaders in assessing project impact.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Proficiency in operating hardware test fixtures is advantageous.
    • Experience in testing automation tools and script development on macOS and iOS platforms is a bonus.
