Nature & Purpose of Position
- The College of Education (COE) Office of the Dean is seeking a student assistant to help with daytoday events
Primary responsibilities include:
- Frequent interaction with vendors, students, faculty, staff, and college administration, related to College of Education.
- Responsible for answering multiline phones, including transferring calls and direction of phone calls.
- Maintaining office supply inventory
- Copying, sorting, scanning, and assisting with various office projects.

- The COE offers a competitive pay structure that compensates student assistants based on longevity with the COE and performance. The pay for this position starts at $8.50/hr. On average, students work approximately 19.5 hours per week and may work up to 28 hours per week, depending on availability and budget.
