    Arch Amenities Group, the leading spa,fitnessand amenity management firm is seeking a Director of Sales in our meetings and events department tojoin our rapidly growing AAG team TheDirector of Sales will lead Northstar 8, a brand-new business class meetings and events facility that is over 46,000 SF in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. The Director of Sales is responsible for maximizing the value of the asset by driving topline revenues for corporate meetings, social events, and weddings. This position will manage a team and focus on developing strategic relationships and soliciting new accounts for lead generation in alignment with the company growth strategy.

    Responsibilities:
    • Solicit new corporate, social, and weddings clients to meet/exceed sales goals.
    • Manage supporting sales and event team members.
    • B2B and B2C Selling and Lead Generation, Implement a structured prospecting and business development plan, strategy, and tactical efforts. Build brand awareness for every approach.
    • You will be the person that builds the meetings, events and group catering business and brand presence in Minneapolis.
    • Utilize your hotel, catering and/or event and meeting experience to drive leads by prospecting the neighborhood initiating conversations and opening doors with corporations, law firms, associations, trade groups, government offices, government agencies, social and catering organizations that can drive leads to you for bookings.
    • Build brand awareness for Northstar 8 as an exceptional location for meetings, catering, wedding, and social events through thoughtful networking.
    • Nurture the full sales cycle from prospect to close. Work with clients throughout the booking and planning process by negotiating pricing and estimates, generating proposals and contracts, securing payment details, etc.
    • Develop dynamic pricing, offer robust event and catering options, and ensure that we deliver menus and experiences in line with the client's vision.
    • Ensure that all events are detailed including BEOs, inter-team communication and that all events, meetings, and social experiences are executed to an elevated level of customer satisfaction.
    • Work with your Field Marketing Manager to obtain post-event client feedback and utilize this feedback to communicate with the full team about areas for improvement and point out areas of excellence.
    • Provide detailed communication to your Event and Catering Meeting Planner about client needs, expectations, budgets and more.
    • Maintain thorough knowledge of competitive set and relationships with counterparts.
    • Conduct site tours for clients and have solid follow-up with proposals and contracts.
    • Be an advocate for automating all selling processes including proposals, contracts, floor plans, schematics, menus, and collateral - be a learner and be efficient so juggling many priorities is a breeze.
    Qualifications:
    • College degree or comparable work experience .
    • Minimum 5-10 years of Hospitality sales experience selling corporate meetings, weddings, and catering events for hotels, large scale event and catering facilities, or restaurant brands with meeting and event spaces, or conference centers.
    • Extensive experience in corporate and social sales with responsibilities for initiative-taking prospecting, lead generation, business development and account management. Ability to collaborate closely with customers providing ideas for future event, solutions for new opportunities and organized options.
    • Creative ideation ability to build out curated, custom events and experiences that WOW and delight your customers.
    • You should have excellent communication and written skills both face to face and via conference calls and email. Able to work with Field Marketing to draft client communications about opportunities, seasonal events, ideas for planning and executing events.
    • A professional, outgoing person who loves to sell, is persistent to close leads and can also be firsthand with the operations to ensure WOW events and meetings are delivered to all clients.
    • Strong leadership skills.
