- Analyze, prioritize & manage supply cycles for all assigned products and categories
- Collaborate with Ops. leadership on supply chain strategy and assure system resources are in place to support deployment within KPI targets
- Identifying supply risks and/or production capacity constraints and offering solutions to the business
- Set correct levels of inventory within the Supply plan by understanding the demand volatility and supply chain lead times. Specifically, the creation of a safety stock strategy and plan that enables continuity of product availability at the optimal level of cash investment
- Responsible for inventory management and the applicable reporting methods including DOS, excess / obsolete and health of inventory
- Interaction with various support groups to accomplish new product process and the execution of the production plan
- Ensure within the Supply Plan that products are being phased in and planned correctly as well as ensure communication and timing of exiting products within the plant or 3rd party
- Oversee component material requirement and collaborate with sourcing/demand planning on execution strategy
- Investigate issues and inefficiencies across operation
- Communicate with business partners regarding the status of the product portfolio from a supply planning perspective
- Participate in and contribute towards, process improvement initiatives and goals
- Responsible for implementation of strategic supply chain agreements with suppliers including material release agreements and inventory management strategies
- Develop and recommend appropriate proposals to mitigate risks when identified and ensure that the plant or 3rd party can meet the future demand
- Monitor and identify materials or capacity constraints and work with functional representatives to resolve and support the replenishment plan
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years related of planning experience in operations, manufacturing and/or direct sales environment.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on daily tactical tasks and support strategic initiatives with high complexity and business impact
- Knowledge of MRP system set up and deployment is a plus
- Excellent Microsoft excel skills required
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus but not required
- Good communication skills; written, oral and inter-personal
- Ability to work independently and employ effective time management skills
- Able to establish structure & pursue information with minimal direction
- Strong presentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft office suite of products

Your Role
The Supply Planner is responsible for developing a supply strategy that ensures product availability in the most efficient manner for the business. This highly collaborative role will accomplish this through Material requirements Planning. This position will interface extensively with the demand planning function, sourcing, purchasing, product development, marketing, and sales.
The Supply Planner will also contribute to system & process improvements & be asked to creatively problem solve any business issues that may arise.

Compensation
The salary range for this role considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the expected salary for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 USD.
Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office / 2 days remote.
