- Provide on-site assistance and support to the college-wide events.
- In collaboration with the Director of Administration and Finance, create and process hiring and separation documentation for faculty and staff positions assigned to their campus.
- Monitor and reconcile campus budgets, capital equipment inventory and minor/sensitive property list for campus.
- Assist campus faculty, staff, and students with purchases, travel, and other tasks regarding finances and HR.
- Maintain the various schedules for the assigned campus including, but not limited to classroom instruction, local campus meetings, room schedules, finals week, etc.
- Plan and implement specific nursing campus events (such as White-Coat Ceremony, New Student Orientation), including securing space, preparing schedules, advertising/promoting, and when appropriate coordinating food, lodging, and transportation.
- Ensure campus faculty and students are able to meet clinical agency compliance requirements.
- Liaison with embedded UIT staff to ensure classroom and office technology is operational.
- Coordinate two undergraduate student nursing programs (Traditional and Accelerated) for assigned campus – by registering students to nursing courses and tracking student requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, class rosters and student contact information for their assigned campus.
- Process and track student compliance with mandatory training, screening, background checks, CPR certifications, blood-borne pathogens, and other protected health information.
- Provide guidance and administrative support to faculty, students, and staff on the campus by providing direction, guidance, and support on administrative, programmatic, project, and office management levels.
- Serve as the first point of contact for the campus by responding to inquiries and requests for information regarding the college, campus, or program.
- Provide back-up coverage to other campus and college administrative staff.
- A bachelor's degree and progressively responsible administrative/office management and excellent customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Demonstrated experience creating and editing correspondence and a wide variety of documents to be disseminated to the public.
- Demonstrated competence prioritizing multiple work assignments/projects and/or organizing and managing events, meeting deadlines, and exercising adaptability to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, effective, and professional attitude.
- Demonstrated competence using personal computers and various software such as word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation, email, and internet. Microsoft Office software preferred.
- Knowledge of or previous experience working in an academic department in a higher education setting.
- Demonstrated successful experience troubleshooting complex issues that require independent judgment and critical thinking.
- Experience as an administrative assistant.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with various constituencies, including students, administrators, co-workers, and faculty.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality required at the executive level and to handle complex and confidential information with discretion while applying strong analytical skills and good judgment.
- Demonstrate excellent written and in person communication skills and interpersonal skills.

General Statement
The Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing (MRJCON) offers a baccalaureate in nursing, accelerated baccalaureate in nursing, Master of Nursing focused on clinical leadership, and Doctor of Nursing Practice with focus in either family nurse practitioner or psych-mental health nurse practitioner. The College has five campus locations across the state, located in Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls, Kalispell, and Missoula.
The Business Operations Manager – Bozeman Campus position provides a high level of administrative and management support to the operations of a Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing campus. This includes assisting the Campus Director in all executive administrative assistant capacities; providing fiscal oversight and budget management for all campus funds; coordinating all campus course scheduling; classroom scheduling; nursing campus events; coordinating campus HR processes and procedures; registering students for courses; and administering the day-to-day operations of the campus.
