- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase dealership sales and profitability
- Train and onboard new sales staff and continuously provide ongoing training and development to improve sales skills and product knowledge
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data and create action plans to address any areas of improvement
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Conduct regular sales meetings to communicate sales goals, promotions, and initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and service, to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process
- Stay uptodate with industry trends, new product launches, and market changes to effectively adjust sales strategies as needed
- Handle customer complaints and escalations in a professional and timely manner
- Attend and participate in training and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge of the automotive industry
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in automotive sales, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and information technology
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
