- Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients
- Assist in crisis intervention services and make appropriate referrals when necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated care
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of client progress and treatment
- Attend regular clinical supervision meetings
- Stay up-to-date with relevant ethical and legal regulations and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
- Participate in team meetings, in-service trainings, and other agency activities as requested
- Are accessible on-site or face-to-face via interactive videoconferencing based on the youth's clinical and/or medical needs. (Interactive videoconferencing may not be appropriate for a youth in crisis at the facility)
- Available twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution; Master's Degree, preferred.
- Active license as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW or higher) in Ohio
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling
- Ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for mental health disorders
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal regulations

Job DescriptionThe Licensed Social Worker (LSW) will provide clinical services to clients in need of mental health treatment. The Social Worker will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director and provide individual and group counseling to clients as well as assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans. The LSW will also maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and communicate regularly with interdisciplinary team members.
This position does require evenings, weekends, holidays and on call time.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be exposed to some hazards such as radiation, bodily fluids that may contain disease, and fumes from laboratory chemicals.
