Job SummaryThe Nurse Manager is responsible for the 24-hour, se24-hour a week functions of a clinical nursing unit(s).What you will do in this role Administers, plans, and evaluates,tes the activities of the department(s) to ensure quality patient care.
Develops goals, policies, and proceed, ures, prepares, and submits operating and capital budgets, participates in multidisciplinary QI teams, and consults with the staff, physicians, and other, departments as needed.
Manages staffing patterns with the assistance of Assistant Nurse Managers and the House Supervisors on a shift-to-shift basis. Follows policies and procedures.Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to facility standards of behaviorWhat qualifications you will need Florida RN licensure required Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred A minimum of one (1) year management of experience is preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 60 days of employment the start date Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 60 days of employment the start dateThis role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
