- Perform complex data analysis, uncover data quality issues and develop solutions to address them
- Bring a total service mindset, responsible for all facets of the Power BI platform
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Understanding and curiosity of corporate business processes (Marketing, Sales, Ops, Accounting, etc.) and business needs and translate that understanding into insightful Dashboards with minimal oversight
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define/document business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems and process issues
- Maintain and troubleshoot Power BI solutions to ensure optimal performance and stability.
- Make recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reporting capabilities
- Collaborate in the planning, design, testing, and deployment of new objects, measures, dimension attributes, and cubes
- Facilitate Employee Self Service solutions for end users to easily find answers to ad-hoc questions through ease of use and training solutions.
- Create process flows, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers
- Coordinate and perform in-depth quality assurance tests, including end-user reviews, for new items and modifications to existing items
- Provide training and technical support to end-users on how to use Power BI dashboards and reports effectively.
- Stay current with new Power BI features, functionalities, and trends, and continuously learn and expand your knowledge in the field.
- Work within an Agile methodology to design, develop, test, and implement reporting features and functions to include system enhancements.
- Document, review and improve existing systems while collaborating with teams to integrate new systems and needs.
- 7+ years of SQL experience for data analysis, profiling and understanding
- 7+ years experience in business analysis and gathering requirements in Data Analytics/Business Intelligence
- 7+ years experience in dashboarding through Power BI
- 7+ years experience building quality reports and visualizations with basic knowledge of database design and data modeling utilizing DAX
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Power BI
- Practical knowledge of source and destination data mapping, ETL definition, data-oriented business rule definition
- Experience building quality reports and visualizations with basic knowledge of database design and data modeling
- Experience translating requirements into test scripts as well as executing test scripts
- Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
- Knowledge of ML\AI withing powerbi a plus
- Microsoft Excel Power Pivot
- Knowledge of source control systems (GIT)
