We're looking for an object-oriented Lead Software Engineer who takes pride in backend development to contribute to building innovative, scalable applications in pursuit of a great user experience.
You'll help develop the next generation of residential products, apps, and services.

This position is located in Washington, DC and offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.Responsibilities
+ Design and develop high performance web applications used by hundreds of thousands of users globally.+ Design and develop using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability.+ Deep knowledge and experience in writing unit testable software with C#+ Promote consistent architecture patterns for design and development within and across?Homes?development teams+ Collaborate closely with other Software Engineers across the organization.+ Advocate standards-driven technology+ Facilitate discussions among other .NET and database developers to exchange new ideas and improvements.+ Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar's technology platform and development practices.Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science or Engineering field preferred)+ 8+ years of production development experience with C# .Net (or .Net Core)+ A demonstrable track record of building and launching successful products and platforms.+ Demonstrate working knowledge Vue, React or Angular in TypeScript+ Experience delivering products that meet specifications and performance SLA.+ Experienced in unit, performance, and automation testing.+ Deeply understand what drives the business for which you are building software.+ Take an active role in mentoring developers with ability to build consensus.Preferred Qualifications and Skills
