    Description
    FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    As a Software Engineer at SoundWay, you'll be responsible for providing technical support to assist clients in defining, designing, developing, enhancing, modernizing, testing, integrating, deploying, and maintaining critical mission and operational-support systems and applications. The level of duties and responsibilities will vary based on the job level you are hired for.
    • Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:(i) Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team or leading a technical team,(ii) Visualizing, designing, and developing innovative software solutions,(iii) Creating scalable software platforms and networking solutions,(iv) Following configuration management policies,(v) Troubleshooting and resolving system issues,(vi) Employing exceptional problemsolving skills,(vii) Planning and scaling software applications,(viii) Writing quality code,(ix) Documenting system functionality,(x) Ensuring reliable software platforms,(xi) Collaborating with product managers and designers,(xii) Working in an Agile environment.
    • More experienced candidates may be required to:(i) Define best practices,(ii) Support large-scale system designs,(iii) Provide guidance and mentorship on emerging technologies.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    The ideal candidate should have experience in cloud-based technology, with the ability to assess, troubleshoot, and optimize various technologies to enhance security and efficiency.
    • TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
      • Documenting design processes,
      • Experience in Agile software development,
      • Scripting and test automation,
      • Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, and more,
      • Strong communication skills.
    • YEARS EXPERIENCE
      • Entry-Level Cloud Engineer: 1 year minimum,
      • Mid-Level Cloud Engineer: 4 years minimum,
      • Senior-Level Cloud Engineer: 8 years minimum.
    • EDUCATION:
      • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline,
      • Waivers available based on experience and certifications,
    • CERTIFICATION(s):
      • Various certifications may be required based on the job level and specific Cloud solution.
    • COVID-19 Vaccination - Federal Government Compliance: Employment may require proof of vaccination or an approved exemption.
