    Marcum LLP is seeking an experienced

    Tax/Accounting Services Senior

    to join our growing and well-established national firm in our

    Coral Gables location . This position requires a high-energy, experienced professional with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for executing the tax engagement work under the account's Supervisor or Manager while overseeing one or two staff accountants

    Complete moderately complex projects accurately, thoroughly, and efficiently

    Participate in staff training and tax department meetings

    Corporate senior able to prepare high level corporate returns, familiar with various state tax returns, major credits, current relief acts, and prepare provisions/Fin 48 analysis

    Provide assistance to peers and others when requested

    Create positive impression with client by exhibiting professional competence and ability

    Qualifications

    3+ years tax experience in public accounting

    Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting

    CPA certification or completion of the CPA exam within a year preferred

    Knowledge of accounting principles and auditing/tax standards to effectively supervise staff and solve routine engagement problems

    Strong communication, research, analytical and writing skills

    Proven technical skills with Excel, Word and Outlook

    Experience with accounting software, ProSystem FX engagement preferred

    Solid organization skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task
