We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (w/m/d) (Physician Assistant m/w/d) in full-time or part-time employment to strengthen our team for the admission ward and outpatient emergency care at our location in Lanham, MD.


The Darmstadt Children's Hospitals Prinzessin Margaret provide care for a wide catchment area (>18,000 outpatient/7,000 inpatient cases per year) with over 154 beds and extensive pediatric specialty outpatient clinics.


Your responsibilities:

  • You will assist the physician in the admission ward or outpatient emergency care of our patients
  • You will support the nursing staff during examinations and treatments
  • You will handle administrative tasks related to patient admission, transfer, or discharge, as well as patient stays
  • You will operate the hospital information systems

Your profile:

  • You have completed training as a Medical Assistant
  • Good knowledge and experience with Office programs and Outlook
  • Initiative and responsibility
  • Professional competence and flexibility
  • Social competence and patientoriented approach
  • Willingness to adapt to changes and innovations in the field and actively participate in them
  • Sense of teamwork and cooperative interaction with all professional groups in the hospital
  • Motivation to participate in further training and development measures
