    Description

    In the role of Sales Executive, you will need to live in Rhode Island, Massachusetts or Connecticut. You will need to go to Maine monthly to meet with colleagues.

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Construction Sales: 5+ years
    • Construction Estimating: 2+ years
    • Sales experience: 10 years (modular sales experience a plus, but not required)

    REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

    • Must have sales experience, preferably in residential construction
    • Firm understanding of the construction and specification process
    • Highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record of success
    • Positive, solutions-oriented approach to all work
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in working with clients and vendors
    • Effective prospecting and networking skills to qualify opportunities and grow new territory
    • Pro-active, well-organized, and reliable
    • Proficient with Salesforce and sales management software
    • Pipeline management and forecasting experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time throughout New England

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Achieve sales goals by assessing client needs
    • Leverage existing industry relationships and gain new territory
    • Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business
    • Maintain working relationships with clients and internal personnel
    • Present services and capabilities to potential clients effectively (off-site construction experience a plus)
    • Prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, and other documentation
