    Job Description/ Responsibilities

    To the point for Monitoring applications SolarWinds able to navigate NPM (Network Performance Monitor) and NetFlow Analyzer to isolate issues in Remote Offices. Wireshark knowledge using from Client Laptops for packet capture and analyses of Network latency issues.

    • Will be the Technical Focal point for Network related issues in remote offices.
    • One who can lead technical discussions with Vendor, holding the vendor accountable when necessary.
    • Communication is critical, able to articulate answers and can speak to why.
    • Able to discuss troubleshooting methodology.
    • Participate in RCA and Update process' based on this.
    • Will be the Anchor to a larger team in the future.
    • Network experience with Layer 2, Access points, Wi-Fi, Meraki
    • Worked with Vendor on Switch placement.
    • Able to create Runbooks, keep them updated.
    • Knowledge of using SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor, NetFlow Analyzer, Wireshark
    • Able to troubleshoot from the Clients laptop Latency, Slow application response from Remote Office to Datacenter
    • Requirement to be Onsite in Irving Office 5 days per week. (635 and Beltline)

    • Remote access solution implementation and support such as IPSEC VPN Understanding of DNS/DHCP
    • Ability to work with vendor support to resolve client issues
    • GCP Design and Implement Network Infrastructure
    • Cloud network engineers design and implement network infrastructure, including virtual private networks (VPNs), routing, and switching. They ensure that the network infrastructure is optimized for the cloud and that it meets the organization's requirements.
    • Experience with Command Line Interfaces to manage computer equipment]
    • IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems.
    • Respond to and resolve alerts and tickets generated from the monitoring system and/or customer requests in a timely fashion.
    • Maintain accurate time and records in all service tickets as performed.
    • Maintain system configuration information within ticketing system and ensure it is attached to relevant tickets.
    • Communicate with customers as needed regarding ticket progress, changes or agreed outages.
    • Escalate service requests that require engineer level support in a timely fashion to prevent breech of SLA.
    • Work with all team members to implement and improve Company best practices.
    • Utilize central management tools to resolve customer issues with minimal customer impact.
    • Get new clients on-boarded and documented in our systems
    • On call Support
    • Collaborating with the IT department on the deployment and maintenance of network technologies.
    • Enhancing intranet performance and creating internet domains.
    • Testing the exchange of data between computers, servers, modems, and routers.
    • Installing, configuring, and updating network software, as well as maintaining hardware and network devices.
    • Optimizing server \Network capacity to keep up with demand in online traffic.
    • Testing network protocols and ensuring stable and secure server connectivity.
    • Documenting network processes and layouts, as well as enhancing network security.
    • Keeping abreast of developments in network infrastructure and technologies.
    • Expertise in troubleshooting software and hardware issues on remote systems
    • Experience in providing technical support via phone, email, and chat
    • Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking, and software applications
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers
