We are seeking a Senior Vice President, Individual Philanthropy Officer to lead our organization's efforts in cultivating and stewarding relationships with individual donors. The ideal candidate will develop strategies to engage donors at all levels and secure philanthropic support for our mission and programs.
The Senior Vice President, Individual Philanthropy Officer is responsible for (1) overseeing and facilitating individual philanthropy, i.e. major gifts, planned gifts, mid-tier giving, monthly giving, and direct mail programs; (2) managing donor portfolios and supporting the CDO, CEO, and COO on key funding initiatives; and (3) collaborating with the Development Department and program teams to promote a culture of philanthropy and to advance SOME's mission.
Required: Bachelor's degree and 3 years experience in non-profit fundraising
Preferred: Bachelor's degree, 8-10 years experience in demonstrated successful major gifts development and management
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; Hybrid Option (2-3 days per week in office); some evenings and weekends are required. (40 hours per week)
