    Job Description

    Location: Within Minnesota, North Dakota, or Wisconsin that will be determined based on candidate location and Bremer's current needs.

    The Credit Coordinator provides analytical support to the Business and Ag Banking departments to ensure client service standards are met and credit and risk analysis is completed in compliance with applicable standards, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Reviews application of credit requests including determining acceptable financial documentation, loan structure, covenants, and guarantors.
    • Initiates all downstream loan partners.
    • Makes suggestions regarding loan structure and credit extension.
    • Work on projects to assist Bremer in meeting key objectives.
    • Assist in activities to manage the portfolio and drive consistent volume.
    • Review the Request for Underwriting Form for completeness.
    • Review requests from various Business Lines including Commercial, Commercial Real Estate, Agriculture, FSA, Non-Profit, House of Worship, SBA, Equipment Finance, Financial Advisor, Franchise, and Municipalities.
    • Review Terms and Conditions
    • Review Loan Agreements
    • Assure compliance with Loan Monitoring Grids per policy.
    • Review Line Sheets and Proposed Loan Structure.
    • Calculate Lending Exposure.
    • Determine and Gather Required Information.
    • Review various types of Financial Statements and Tax Returns for completeness.


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a bachelor's degree
    • Credit Coordinator 1 (N66) - OR 4 years relevant experience involving analysis of data/data sets, commercial credit documentation requirements.
    • Credit Coordinator 2 (E84) - AND minimum of 3 years of work experience in a credit related role and/or analysis experience.
    • Credit Coordinator 3 (E85) - AND minimum of 5 years of work experience in a credit related role and/or analysis experience.
    • Credit Coordinator 4 (E87) - AND minimum of 7 years of work experience in a credit related role and/or analysis experience.
    • Ability to demonstrate and consistently model Bremer values, Bremer Leadership Competencies and foster an inclusive work environment.
