- Program, setup and run CNC machines.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
- Perform in-process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and quality of machined parts.
- Select appropriate tools, materials, and cutting parameters for each job.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or deviations from specifications.
- Perform routing machine maintenance and coordinate machine repairs with outside vendors.
- 2 years of experience as CNC Programmer required; preferably in a plastic injection molding environment.
- Ability to multitask, run several projects simultaneously, communicate efficiently with other departments, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and CAD models.
- MasterCam and SolidWorks experience preferred.
- Ability to program and operate CNC machines to produce plastic injection molds and components according to specifications and quality standards.
