Description

job summary:
A Project Controls Lead Analyst is needed for a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company in the Decatur, IL area. This lead-level position requires expertise in project controls, encompassing planning, scheduling, cost analysis, risk assessment, and client coordination, while also providing leadership and managing contractual obligations.

responsibilities:

Support planning, scheduling, cost analysis, risk assessment, and client coordination.
Apply advanced project controls techniques and analyses independently.
Handle commercial issues.
Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced project control and project personnel.
Achieve high forecasting accuracy.
Proactively address project issues to support successful project outcomes.
Address contractual requirements related to cost control and schedule control.
Lead planning and schedule preparation, including startup planning.

Education and Experience:

Four-year Bachelor's degree with eight or more years of relevant Cost Control or Planning and Scheduling experience or
No four-year Bachelor's degree required with ten years or more of relevant experience in Home Office or Field Office.
Prefer Master's degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management.
