About Our Client

My client is a leading aerospace and defense supplier based in McHenry County, IL. They recently brought in a new management team who is prioritizing additions to Engineering, and is putting a huge focus on running more Lean and making upgrades to this facility. They seek a change agent to partake in upgrade projects and drive the facility towards peak performance.

Job Description

Writing and communicating work instructions, SOPs

Design & improve manufacturing process for new & existing product lines

Participate in projects centered around upgrading of equipment and systems in the facility

Troubleshoot production issues as they arise

Play key role in quoting parts for customers

Participate in Engineering design reviews

The Successful Applicant

5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment

Working knowledge of LEAN toolkit and experience implementing LEAN methodologies into production

Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis to address part/process defects

Knowledge of 3D modeling software; SolidWorks preferred

Experience working within ERP systems - Syteline a huge plus

Background supporting production, troubleshooting issues

Knowledge of process validations a plus (PFMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ)

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills What's on Offer

Base salary $80,000-$95,000 depending on level of experience
