- Support development and execution of significant rail/transit projects including light rail, heavy rail subway, commuter rail, high-speed rail, and/or bus rapid transit surface, aerial or underground project pursuits and delivery (traditional and alternative)
- Establish relationships and interact with major clients
- Provide technical expertise and input to client procurements, evaluations and selection process(es)
- Directly involved in the day-to-day management and delivery of their assigned client project(s) from initial contract negotiations to final commissioning, start-up and handover.
- A desire to work with external contractors/consultants, AECOMs other divisions/regions and interact directly with major clients
- Be a visible and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOMs values both internally and externally
- Coordinate procurement-related actions and deliverables on behalf of the procurement team
- Assist in the development of key procurement-related documents
- Other related responsibilities as directed by the program director
- BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Experience in Alternative Delivery Methods
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Track and manage task budgets and schedule experience
- Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction
- Ability to work with various multi-disciplined teams is essential to this role
- Provide in-depth Quality Control and Quality Assurance for design/project management/program management
- Travel may be required for this position.

- Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $123,000 - $250,000.

Job Description
AECOM is seeking an experienced Transportation Transit/Rail Project Manager to join our Sacramento Office.
JOB SUMMARY:
This is an exceptional opportunity to be involved with mega capital infrastructure transit/rail projects for our key clients. Qualified applicants will be able to demonstrate an established career in the transportation transit and rail industry and have a successful track record with the delivery of mega-transit/rail programs. This role will support client procurements by assisting in pre-award planning and coordination of their assigned project(s).
