    Data Product Manager III

    We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Product Manager with a solid background in crafting product requirements, change management, stakeholder engagement, data querying, and expertise in ecommerce marketing concepts. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of overseeing data product development, driving change initiatives, and aligning stakeholders within an ecommerce-focused environment.This role not only involves leading data product development but also focuses on analytics enablement.We want to give our analysts clean and relevant data to analyze, that will enable them to recommend the correct actions for the business to take, at the right time. Knowledge of various analytics platforms for analysis, visualization, and machine learning is required.

    This role unlocks value for our Marketing Analytics team by drivingand executingMarketing Analytics data strategy and by advocating for improvementsto our internal tooling and processes.

    What you'll do:

    • Data Product Development: Lead the conception, design, and development of data products by defining requirements and ensuring alignment with ecommerce marketing objectives.
    • Change Management: Implement and oversee change initiatives related to data product development, ensuring smooth adoption and alignment with stakeholder needs. This will include removing old datasets as well as adding new ones, making sure our analysts have the most relevant datasets available to them to let them drive data driven decision making.
    • Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate closely with stakeholders, fostering alignment and buy-in for data product strategies, analytics platform initiatives, and ecommerce-focused initiatives.
    • Analytics Enablement: Drive the enablement of analytics within the organization, ensuring teams have access to and proficiency with analytics platforms for visualization and machine learning.
    • Data Querying: Proficient in querying and analyzing data using tools such as SQL, Python, or other relevant technologies to inform product development and to support data-driven decision-making within an ecommerce context.
    • Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and execution of data product strategies that align with ecommerce marketing objectives, ensuring timely delivery to meet the objectives, as well as scalability andeffectiveness.
    • Requirement Gathering: Elicit and document clear and actionable product requirements, considering stakeholder needs, technical feasibility, and ecommerce marketing concepts.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with data engineering, analytics, and ecommerce marketing teams to ensure successful product development, seamless integration, and alignment with ecommerce-focused organizational objectives.
    • Governance: Contribute to governance committees throughout EG to ensure our needs are represented and fulfilled.

    Who you are:

    • At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Product Manager with a focus on data product development and requirement creation.
    • Proficiency in data querying using tools such as SQL, Python, or other relevant technologies.
    • Deep knowledge of ecommerce marketing concepts and strategies.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights within an ecommerce context.
    • Demonstrable stakeholder engagement and communication skills and ability to drive alignment and buy-in, specifically within the ecommerce marketing domain.
    • Strong expertise in change management related to product development initiatives.
    • Experience building clear, concise and well-structured functional material (e.g., policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages) and recommend improvements to existing material.
    • Familiarity with analytics platforms for visualization and machine learning.
    • Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Management, Business Analytics) or equivalent work experience.

    The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500 to $192,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
