For the institute at the Technical University of Hamburg, we are currently seeking a:
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (m/f/d)

Full-time, fixed-term for 5 years. Salary according to pay grade 13.

YOUR TASKS

Research in the field of quantifying haptic systems from device and user perspectives, particularly focusing on small actuators such as Exciter/ERM/ERP
University teaching in the fundamentals of haptics
Interdisciplinary collaboration with universities such as HfMT, UKE, and HAW in the newly established LIGETI Center ()
Coordination and technical supervision of student projects in the abovementioned areas

YOUR PROFILE
Requirements

Completed academic degree, particularly in the fields of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or mechanics
Alternatively, completed academic degree in physics or a technical field related to humanmachine interaction

Required expertise and personal skills

Proficiency in German (C1 level) due to the environment and the funder's communication requirements
Teamwork skills for working in interdisciplinary teams
Willingness to participate in show events
Engineering knowledge in the design and development of dynamic mechanical systems
Solid basic knowledge in all areas of mechanical measurement technology
