- Install, configure, maintain, support, and secure the organization's network communications, including LANs and/or WANs.
- Identify network problems, isolate root causes, and initiate corrective action.
- Determine priority of action and additional resources required, based on severity of service interruption.
- Provide technical analysis to all customers to isolate issues and develop strategies to restore or activate services.
- Interact with Telecommunication Engineers, LAN Administrators, and transmission and RF staff regarding ongoing network activities.
- Ascertain compliance with security, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Generate reports on network performance, trouble-shooting results, and routine maintenance of network elements.
- Provide technical support to both on-site and remote users
- Review system data and responding to incidents
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on systems/software
- Ability to work within the demands a global 24x7 High availability transaction oriented network.
- Ability to translate business requirements into network requirements and collaboratively work with other technical teams to deliver an overall solution.
- A passion for technology
- Must be self-directed
- Must have excellent troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Windows/Mac/Linux servers and workstations
- Information Security experience/credentials are a plus
- Programming background is a plus
