- We are on the lookout for a talented Senior Systems Engineer / Network Administrator with 3-5 years of experience in IT, specifically in an MSP or corporate helpdesk environment. This role involves high-level consulting, troubleshooting, and effective communication with both internal teams and clients.
- We don't want anyone to be simply known as the "printer guy" - everyone is expected to be well-versed in multiple technical areas.
- Provide advanced support for end users and customer networks, both on-site and remotely.
- Engage in all project phases: presales, planning, implementation, and post-sales support.
- Troubleshoot issues within Windows environments, networking, and related technologies.
- Maintain and upgrade system/network configurations.
- Create documentation to improve team efficiency and support junior staff.
- Regularly update management and clients on progress and issues.
- Manage tickets effectively to ensure high client satisfaction levels.
- Participate in training and certification programs as needed.
- Be available outside standard hours for project requirements and client support.
- 3-5 years of IT experience, ideally in an MSP setting.
- Solid troubleshooting, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with network protocols, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Cisco/SonicWALL technologies.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with helpdesk tools like ConnectWise or Autotask.
- Valid US driver's license with a clean record.
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft, SonicWall, or Cisco.
- Experience with advanced technologies like Hyper-V and Intune.
- Prior consulting and client-facing experience.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for learning.
- Confidence and humility in client/team interactions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
