The area of responsibility includes, among others:
The open positions are thematically related to secure, intelligent, energy-efficient, and sustainable communication and cloud technologies for smart city applications.
Positions are offered in the following areas:
- 5G / 6G Campus Networks, Private Mobile Networks, Nonpublic Networks (NPN)
- Cellular VehicletoX Communications (C-V2X) for Connected Mobility
- 5G / 6G Open RAN / O-RAN Network Security (SecuritybyDesign)
- Conducting research in the respective field. This includes, among other things, researching new concepts, methods, models, algorithms, and possibly protocols and architectures.
- Design, planning, and possibly conducting experiments to evaluate the performance of one's own approaches in real scenarios.
- Collaboration with other researchers and engineers to develop and test new technologies and applications.
- Publication of research results in highquality conferences and journals.
- Supervision of students.
Necessary qualifications:
- Aboveaverage university degree (Master's or Diploma) in engineering or related fields.
- Relevant fields of study for the university degree or doctorate: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Business Informatics.
- Ability and willingness to work independently as well as in a team in a goal and solutionoriented manner.
