    Located in Northwest Houston, Mexcor International, seeks a Human Resources Manager, bilingual highly preferred. We have a competitive compensation package with a wide range of benefits. This position works in the office 8am to 5pm, Monday Friday.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Reporting to the COO, the Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including administration of payroll, benefits, leave of absences, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, employee development and other related areas. The HR Manager will ensure company policies and practices are followed. They will also partner with senior staff to promote training and staff development including annual safety classes.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Oversees the daily workflow of the HR department.

    Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations in the HR department.

    Full-cycle recruitment of all staff particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles. Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for job openings.

    Onboarding and Offboarding

    Ensures HR department and company KPIs are understood by department leaders and align with the company annual goals.

    Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.

    Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.

    Manages company and associates confidential information according to policy

    Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

    Communicate to ensures incentives are understood by recipients and are calculated and paid timely.

    Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.

    Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

    Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

    Policy creation and development

    Handles development, feedback and termination of employees according to policy.

    Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, and employment law.

    Review workers compensation claims with operations.

    Occasionally travel required

    Performs other duties as assigned

    SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

    Bilingual English/Spanish highly desired

    At least three years of human resource management experience preferred

    PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired

    Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

    Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate

    Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

    Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

    Ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems

    Some travel required
