    Description

    Premier Physician Services is currently working with the State of North Carolina to fill their need for a part-time contracted Psychiatrist to work in their correctional facility located in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is NOT a telepsych position. They are requiring a provider to be onsite 5 days a week, 8-hour days, Monday-Friday.

    • Must have current licensure to practice in the State of North Carolina
    • Clean malpractice/background
    • BC/BE
    • Credentialing Time Frame: 2-4 weeks
    Job Summary: A Correctional Facility Psychiatrist is a licensed medical professional specializing in psychiatry, responsible for providing mental health care services to inmates within a correctional facility. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of mental health disorders among the incarcerated population, as well as collaborating with other healthcare and correctional staff to ensure comprehensive care and maintain the safety of both inmates and staff.
