    The American Association of Endodontists (AAE) is dedicated to the excellence in the art and science of endodontic dental specialty and to the highest standard of patient care. The Association inspires its members to pursue professional advancement and personal fulfillment through education, research, advocacy, leadership, communication, and service.

    The AAE is currently seeking a Continuing Education Manager to join our team. This is a key supervisory role that participates in and supports continuing education strategies and tactics for the AAE. This position manages the development and delivery of AAE education products and services, working collaboratively with the various departments and volunteers to ensure high quality continuing education products and events for members. Supervises and mentors Continuing Education Coordinator.

    What you'll do:

    • Oversee all aspects of the learning management system and online CE.
    • Manage association activities relating to the development and delivery of Continuing Education, including Endo on Demand, the online learning management system, Insight Track and other continuing education meetings as assigned.
    • Build and maintain relationships with CE vendors and industry partners, including negotiating agreements as assigned.
    • Staff liaison to the Continuing Education Committee, Distance Learning Subcommittee and special committees as assigned.
    • Provide speaker management for the AAE annual meeting workshops, collaborating with workshop chair and meetings manager to produce and execute hands-on workshops.
    • Manage evaluation, verification and reporting processes for all continuing education courses.
    • Ensure educational programs meet all Continuing Education compliance requirements, including ADA, CCEPR, and State of California
    • Oversee AAE Recommended Speakers Lists and manages funding and promotions.
    • Manage AAE Podcast production and act as staff liaison to Podcast Host and editorial committee.
    • Oversee and direct supervision of CE Coordinator
    • Manag and maintain all activities relating to ADA CERP recognition, applications and Extended Approval Program.
    • Work with AED, Meetings and CE to develop and manage Continuing Education budgets for department.

    What we seek:

    • Related Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Experience in website content management, including knowledge of editing, proofreading and copy writing preferred.
    • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in online education, learning management systems, and adult learning required.
    • At least 1 year of association management or other non-profit organization experience preferred.
    • Experience in working with committees desired.
    • Experience in using database software and working with association management systems highly valued.
    • Experience with managing direct reports preferred.
    • Familiarity with ADA Continuing Education Recognition Program (CERP) standards or ACCME standards highly desired.
    • Familiarity with the dental industry or non-profits preferred.
    • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to plan to meet deadlines.
    • Strong project management skills with attention to detail including the ability to coordinate workflow, determine priorities, meet deadlines and effectively balance competing demands. Ability to problem-solve and make on-the-spot decisions.
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including knowledge of editing, proofreading and copy writing.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Ability to mentor, coach, and set priorities for direct report.
    • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to represent Association with utmost professionalism and high level of customer service.
