We are currently looking for:

Project Manager for Construction and Climate Protection (m/f/d) at the local building authority

Your responsibilities:

  • Acting as the client for new construction, renovation or refurbishment projects
  • Technical implementation and management of construction projects, project processing, support of planning, conducting tenders, awarding contracts and realization in collaboration with contractors and architectural firms
  • Technical support of construction projects with a focus on energy and climate management
  • Development and management of climate protection projects, including acquisition of funding
  • Support and coordination of energy measures for the municipality and public sector
  • Preparation of regular climate protection and energy reports, energy monitoring, updating of the climate plan
  • Reporting and communication within the administration, municipal council and other stakeholders
  • Press and public relations work within the department
  • Committee work, preparation of meeting documents with technical presentations
  • Other tasks depending on qualifications

We expect:

  • Completed degree with qualifications for the diverse range of tasks
  • Ideally, professional experience in municipal building administration
  • High level of personal responsibility, independence, commitment and flexibility
  • Friendly, communicative and citizen-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in digital information and communication technology
