Description

We are seeking a passionate and talented Financial Analyst with interest in the Health Insurance industry to join our client's team.

This is an on-site position.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional skills in data management, particularly in Microsoft Excel, including proficiency in using formulas, tables, and all available functionalities.

They should be capable of conducting thorough data analysis and making meaningful connections within the dataset, all with the goal of leveraging data insights to drive business objectives forward.

Experience in or a thorough understanding of the health insurance industry is preferred, but the client is willing to train a motivated and promising individual looking to join their high-performing team.

Requirements:
A degree in mathematics, statistics, advanced business, actuarial sciences and economics or a junior actuarial knowledge.
Knowledge of or working experience in medical insurance is strongly desired.
3-5+ years of professional experience and proven working experience as a Financial Analyst
Strong analytical skills and the ability understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis
Expertise in Microsoft Excel and all its functionalities required.
Experience in data management and financial data analysis

Working knowledge of Microsoft tools, including email, teams, tasks, and other collaboration tools similar collaboration platforms may be applicable experience to learn our tools.

Skills:
Effective communication skills; listening, written and verbal; ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment to solve business problems to help achieve the company's goals, as well as the ability to lead others in areas of domain expertise.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision and direction, while managing a complex workload
Ability to think from an end user's perspective on system usage.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on the end-user
Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and various financial software applications
Goods presentation and reporting skills
