This position is for a Financial Analyst professional. Executes financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support business plans. Responsible for developing analysis and projections and conducting small projects.

This role is onsite in Medley, FL.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Executes financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support business plans.
  • Reviews, analyzes and interprets financial and budgetary reports to develop observations and preliminary recommendations.
  • Develops P&L, balance sheet and cash flow analysis and projections.
  • Develops analysis on budgets, forecasts, inventory, and / or sales margins.
  • Provides interpretation of financial data in spreadsheets, charts, and reports.
  • Conducts smallmid scale projects, completing ad hoc analysis.
  • Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation, and investments.
  • Analyzes profitandloss income statements and prepares reports on findings to make budgeting and cost recommendations to management.
  • Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, operations, supply chain, programs, engineering, and other areas of the business for financial and strategic planning purposes.
  • Research economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning.
  • Creates financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development and new marketing strategies.
  • During month end Close:
  • Update forecast file with actual sales.
  • Make sure all revenue and COS match
  • Update GM reports and send them out to VSL
  • Send I/C margins to all intercompany finance
  • Upload OneStream with SAP data and refresh and send out financial reports (IS, BS, Revenue Mix, etc)
  • Reconcile SAP to OneStream
  • Update Monthly Backlog for supplemental data
  • Upload Supplemental data in OneStream (actual and forecast)
  • Update Revenue Forecast in preparation of the meeting with VSL and Production
  • Various deliverables for Interiors relative to revenue, WIP, inventory
  • During the month:
  • Monitor revenue and WIP to update Weekly Revenue file
  • Maintain and update the Forecast Models:
  • Revenue Forecast
  • Income Statement Forecast
  • Balance Sheet Forecast

Basic Qualifications:


  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • High Excel proficiency (Macros, complex formulas, multi workbook links, modeling)
  • Power Point knowledge
  • Some knowledge of OneStream
  • Large data analysis and consolidation
  • Model and report creation and maintenance, with automation as much as possible through Macro
  • OneStream or HFM and Hyperion knowledge preferred
