    Default job background
    Description

    ABOUT COAST
Coast ("Coast" or the "Company") is a rapidly growing commercial and industrial ("C&I") solar energy firm.

By offering innovative systems which provide dependable solar energy to commercial businesses, Coast is disrupting the way commercial building owners purchase electricity.

Through the backing of its financial sponsor, Crosstimbers Capital Group, Coast expects to finance, develop, own, and operate $300+ million of commercial solar projects across the United States over the next several years.

Coast owns the solar systems installed on the roofs of commercial buildings and sells solar electricity to building owners at a rate typically less than their current electricity provider.

We are looking for talented, results-oriented, self-starters who will consistently deliver exceptional results to our customers and investors in pursuit of becoming the leading C&I solar provider in the United States.

    COAST'S BELIEFS ABOUT PEOPLE

We believe people should feel appreciated and part of a broader—mission-based organization—where their experience and talents are nurtured, and their full potential is realized.

Coast seeks to cultivate a culture that enables talented individuals to thrive by autonomously utilizing their unique abilities and extraordinary work ethic within a highly collaborative environment that fosters innovation, creativity, and teamwork.

We view it as one of our greatest responsibilities to enable, lead, and help individuals grow into their best versions.

Our team shares a common vision of becoming the best version of ourselves and building the best company we can create while transitioning our country to clean, renewable energy.

    EXPECTED OUTCOMES AND REQUIREMENTS

Coast has identified the need for a skilled Senior Project Manager to manage the installation and commissioning of Coast's solar and energy storage projects.

This individual will manage project schedules and implement processes to ensure efficient project execution, while also cultivating relationships with EPC's, engineers, and other project management/construction groups to organically generate commercial solar opportunities and long-term partnerships.

    Responsibilities include:

    Project Management:
Oversee EPC scope of work during bidding, construction and commissioning phases
Hold EPCs accountable to high standards and project schedules
Manage project schedules, budgets, QA/QC inspections, and change order requests
    Review and approve EPC submittals
Lead project reporting and updates, and proactively identify and address potential issues
Coordinate with Coast project teams and client contacts

    Construction Oversight:
Conduct regular site visits for quality assurance and safety standards
Maintain budget versus actual cost build-ups, ensuring projects remain on budget
Provide proactive communication with Coast leadership on project progress and potential challenges
Manage vendor payments and contract negotiations

    Process Improvement:
Identify and implement improvements in internal operations and construction management processes
Mentor and train team members on best practices and industry standards
Collaborate with Coast team members on EPC pricing, contract negotiation and due dilligence

    Field Work and Travel:
Prepared and excited to be in the field regularly for site visits for national projects
Available for periodic travel to the Coast HQ office if remote, or in-office Tuesday – Thursday if local when not in the field

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
5-10 years of total experience with at least 3+ years of experience in C&I solar project management
Experience managing construction of C&I PV rooftop, ground mount and carport projects
Multi-state installation experience of C&I projects with an understanding of multi-state requirements
Experience managing projects with BESS, EV and other non-PV elements
Experience managing multiple projects at various stages simultaneously
    Highly detail-oriented and organized individual
Innovative and organized self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
Energetic and driven personality who thrives in a high-paced, dynamic, small-company environment
NABCEP certification (preferred but not required)
How many years of PV design and project estimating experience for C&I projects do you have?

Will you now, or in the future, require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H-1B visa status)?

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
